Frances Cannon

Third Drawer Down first collaborated with Frances Cannon in 2016. Frances is a Melbourne-based multidisciplinary Australian artist working primarily in gouache, ink and watercolour. Her work has a diaristic quality, consisting largely of intimate illustrations and references to personal experience. Her work explores contemporary femininity, attitudes towards the body and its functions, mental health, sex, relationships and gender.
